Day 8: It's going to be another late post...

Yesterday, my mom and I made plans to go to the 5:30 AM session at the temple this morning. I woke up at 4:57, pulled out of the driveway at 5:07, parked in the Temple parking lot at 5:20, and made it up to the endowment room before they started. Whew! What a rush! It was not my intention to cut things so close--does anyone have a good remedy for hitting the snooze button too many times?

The temple was great--really it was just what I needed. However, upon my return home my good intentions for cleaning turned into one mistake--and bigger mess--after another. First the guinea pig got loose while I was cleaning his cage. Ugh! Then I dropped a glass from the top of the stairs all the way to the bottom, which shattered into a million pieces. Luckily, the vacuum saved the day on both accounts. :) Needless to say, every task took infinitely longer than it should have.

Now I know this is not a personal blog and you may not be too interested in the details of my day, but if you are waiting for a post about the reading today--these are the reasons you haven't found one yet. :) I also wanted to give you a place to make comments, if anyone would like to share, before I am able get my thoughts posted.
